Followed by two employees, the man broke into a run and was last seen running toward Northlake Boulevard along an alley. The man stole an estimated $250 worth of merchandise which included cosmetics and several rotisserie chickens.

Theft: Walking into a store in the 1200 block of West Indiantown Road, a man selected a cart and began shopping. Grabbing a box containing six bottles of vodka, the man placed the box in the cart and headed for the exit. Failing the render payment and nearing the exit, he was intercepted by the store manager. Ignoring her, the man began running with the cart as he exited the store. Arriving at a car, he quickly loaded the stolen liquor and hopped into the passenger seat. She was found lying in the grass a short distance from the establishment, talking on her phone and crying. She was taken into custody for her own safety and was eventually arrested for disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest without violence.

The man instigated a physical altercation. The offender was left with no visible injuries and the defender of honor had two small scratches near his collarbone. Neither party wished to pursue charges and both signed waivers of prosecution.

Theft: A woman loaded nearly $400 worth of merchandise into the cart at a store in the 2100 block of West Indiantown Road. The items included a pillow, comforter set, a blender and a grill. She then pushed the cart past all points of sale and through the exit. The woman then loaded the items in her vehicle before driving off. The entire incident was captured on video surveillance.
